2008 Southeast Land Trust Conference
March 27 - 29, 2008 | Montreat, NC
Join us at the Southeast Land Trust Conference sponsored by the Land Trust Alliance (from Thursday morning, March 27th, to Saturday, March 29th) at the Montreat Conference Center near Black Mountain east of Asheville, NC. The North Carolina Land Trusts annual Assembly will be held at the same location in conjunction with the regional conference on Wednesday, March 26th. There will be multiple sessions and tracks, including sessions on public policies and conservation financing in Southeastern states, on managing forests on conserved lands, partnerships for stream and watershed protection, biodiversity resource protection, wetlands mitigation and banking, broadening diversity of membership and community support, three workshops on key standards and practices in operating land conservation programs, preparing for accreditation, and much more.
Registration is closed for the Southeast Conference. We will be accepting walk-ins for Saturday, March 29th only.
