Alliance Trainings – A Smaller Footprint!
When you participate in Land Trust Alliance trainings, you are contributing to a Green event! The Alliance is committed to delivering events that minimize waste and energy consumption as outlined by the Convention Industry Council’s Green Meetings Task Force Report.
For years, the Alliance has been proud to deliver environmentally friendly trainings. We strive to build upon this Green tradition and in doing so, hope to offer an inspirational, clean and earth-friendly conference.
RALLY IS A CARBON NEUTRAL CONFERENCE!
The Alliance is proud to announce that the 20th Rally was a carbon neutral conference. We have calculated and offset 62 tons of generated CO2 emissions – pollutants produced by field trip bus emissions and heating, cooling and light emissions from the Adam’s Mark Hotel conference space. These offsets have been sponsored by Colorado Conservation Trust and dedicated to NativeEnergy to assist in current projects like the Owl Feather War Bonnet Wind Farm and the Wanner Family Farm Methane Project. The NativeEnergy program was chosen because it is a privately held Native American energy company that helps build Native American farmer-owned and community-based renewable energy projects. If you would like to learn more and do your part to offset your Rally travel CO2 emissions, please visit www.nativeenergy.com and consider offsetting your travel pollutants.
