The Private Landowner Network, PLN, is an internet-based resource that facilitates and encourages the conservation endeavors of both private landowners and their trusted advisors.  PLN is committed to providing the private landowner community with the information and resources needed to increase awareness of the economically viable options they have to preserve their land and conserve the natural resources.

The PLN website features a suite of conservation tools, and the crown jewel is the Conservation Resource Database.  This database is searchable by state, zip code, and resource type to provide a list of technical experts, service providers, and funding programs accessible to private landowners for land conservation.

The website also features a growing catalog of educational articles about various aspects of land conservation and estate planning.  PLN provides an effective link to public conservation agencies through featured partnership programs.  These educational materials serve a dual purpose: one is to educate and inform the private landowner community and to refer individuals in need of assistance to local service providers; the second is to market the services of these same authors, by providing direct links from the authors to the retail landowner’s market through the publication of the articles carried on the site.
